FMA-Brothersby ~majochan

Edward and Alphonse Elric, from Fullmetal Alchemist. I haven't seen episode 23 yet but apparently they are in dire need of hugs...and I really love how the relationship of brothers is portrayed in the anime, one that had been sorely neglected for awhile...

This is my idea of what might be a 'happy ending', because I don't believe in the fact that everything will just magically turn out all right. But it would be wonderful if Al could get his body back, and I know that Ed would do anything to do that for his brother, even if he has to give up his own life. So in my 'happy ending' pic, they're both still alive, even though Ed isn't restored and had given up something important.^_^; (Al is saying "Brother, you're an idiot." and Ed's kinda smiling sadly and agreeing with him). A kind of bittersweet moment when you realize you've gained some and lost some, and hopefully matured in the process.

The sketch itself was done today in class, kinda smudgy and not very well rendered (or shaded), but mostly I was trying for the mood.^_^;

As usual, comments and suggestions welcomed.
