Full Metal Alchemist-Ed and Al

I finished this picture about an hour ago, then Painter promptly closed itself without warning, which meant that I had to start from the near beginning all over again. Needless to say, I was less than pleased.

But in other news, FMA is the coolest thing since rice, in my opinion. I should be doing stuff for my art trades, but Ed and Al are just too cute and needed to be drawn.

I'm not sure how well Ed turned out, at least he's recognizable as Ed (I hope) but I liked how Al turned out. Al's...just amazing, considering that he's a suit of armor and yet can convey so much emotion...those two are pretty awesome, in any case.

This was colored in Painter 8, with a tiny bit of fixing up in Photoshop. The random Japanese is ...well, just my own thing. But yeah, Ed and Al rocks. Maybe I'll draw Roy or Hawkeye next...
