This is an old piece of Slayers fanart that I found when I was rooting through my files today...I'm still rather fond of it, even though the coloring is terrible (That was back when I was still using the magic wand to select the color areas...) because there are little white dots all over the place.

I rather like romances that start off with the two involved disliking each other, but Lina and Gourry's relationship is something completely awesome to me...going from strangers to friends, to best friends, and eventually, best friends with benefits.^_^ Of course they never got that far in the series, but a fangirl can dream^_^

Oh..my..god...

That is so utterly sweet..oh..I love it...I've always liked the relationship between Gourry and Lina..it seems like they would have been just the sweetest couple behind the scenes. ^_^

Oh that's so pretty. I was never thought of Lina and Gourry has a couple but as a pair they're so cool. Anyway you have a great style. Very nice.

Well, they *did* sort of reach the best friends with benefits part, but the creators of Slayers were nicely subtle about it.^^ This was one of my favorites when I first browsed your gallery a long time ago, and as I look at it again I can see why.^_^

It's a very subtle picture, that's why.^^ Their relationship radiates a calm and peace and acceptance of each other. There's no raging passion or any of the cheesy, drippingly romantic stuff, and this picture points that out.^^ The look on Gourry's face is...very eloquent, but very simple.^^ Like the man himself.^_^ Plus I love his gesture of sweetness.^^

I can't tell that the coloring is bad^^;

I love this ^^! The white spots aren't too bad, and maybe if you get ambitous (i think that's how it's spelled), you could go back and touch them up with a really tiny brush. The expressions are perfect, and it's so sweet ^.^

I think you did a marvelous job with composition AND coloring, but then, I'm terrified of computer coloring because I'm pretty sure PS 4.5 pulled a knife on me one time. ;)

I adore Lina and Gourry as a couple, and I think what you drew here is entirely in tune with the feel of the show.
